War Poem - Sniper and Bombs

Sniper

The bush, a place from where I hide
The time is gone, no need to bide.
My heart beat strong, slow, steady.
My rifle loaded, cocked, and ready.
Drops of rain fall from my scope
No time to stall, no time to cope.
"Take the shot" my spotter said.
"Wind Resistance, zero, dead"
Took the shot, and let it fly.
In an arch, up through the sky.
Waiting, Waiting, time no more
For the victim, who in his lore
Lead a nation, sent men to war.

Bombs

Bombs made of metals, dropping on petals
Of flowers no more, blood, lots of gore.
As the bomb go, people you know
Stop and they fall, leave dust on the wall.
