...rning's haul in the single patch of sunlight allowed to penetrate his fortress.

'No wonder the guy had been keen to give chase - seventy-four dollars! Only an idiot comes into my park with that kind of dough in his wallet', Seba grinned silently to himself, 'Two cellphones - not too old, not bad... A sweet pair of Ray-Bans - maybe keep those... a small plastic bag with what turned out to be underwear inside - not bad if they're my size, I guess... and some kid's purse - not sure why I took that one, couldn't resist - it was practically falling out her bag for Chrissakes!'

Suddenly Seba stopped dead still. He had become aware of a commotion in the park nearby. But there was something else too... something a lot closer, a presence... around him... nearer... almost inside him...

And then Seba didn't feel himself at all. He picked up the Ray-Bans and put them on, got up, and headed purposefully out into the park.

Author Guidance for this Story

Parkovic Right. The idea is to add one more character per chapter while at the same time featuring or referencing all previous characters!

Might be a bit slow at first but once we reach chapter six or seven, things should start to get interesting - and if it gets added to a lot it could become reeeeeally tricky/fun to add to!

With regard to style and genre, anything goes. Poetry is fine, changing protagonists and tone is fine, so long as all the previous characters are featured in some capacity each time.

It would also be nice to follow on character's personalities and characteristics as much as possible although obviously it's your call if another side is revealed to a previous character in your chapter!

Hopefully that's clear enough and this should be fun!

Now go add!!

Ok, folks - as suggested by Midnight, I shall endeavour to keep an up to date list of characters here in the Guidance for your reference when adding. As touched upon, some characters seem to have dual identities - it is up to your discretion which you choose to reference but only one of the two need be named in any one chapter I think since they refer to the same person/bird/wizard/thingymajig.

In the case of Nancy and Foaminator, I'd say they are both featured characters now rather than either/or but to make it easier for all of us it's probably best to be really clear in new chapters who the new character is (and to try and only add one ; ) )

Hope you're having as much fun as I am!
