The Rubáiyát of Eternity's Time
Eternity's Time spans everywhere,
It's not a constant, but it's always fair,
Whether at home or the farthest reaches of space,
Eternity has a clock ticking there.
Eternity is some sort of infinite handed genius,
He considers his task as deadly serious,
To keep all these wheels of time rolling in unison,
With apparently the only aim of pleasing us.
Time's a constraint made by the human mind,
And Eternity's the jailer who smiles so kind,
And he cannot let us go or he will fade to dust,
In Eternity's Time even Eternity is entwined.
