Line by Line

  So let's try something different, shall we?

  Linear stories mean a continuing plot line... so why not have a continuing contribution of sentences.

  I'll start with the first sentence, and (hopefully) someone will add the next sentence, and then someone else will add the third... and so on.. until a *beautiful* literary creation presents itself.

So...

Sentence # 1:

  Stepping into the foyer, and folding up the umbrella beaded with the remenants of the late afternoon's downpour,  the dark haired man felt along the wall for the switch that would turn on the hallway light.
