Rumble.

A breeze arrives: a tingle through the cool air, drifting with a rumble from afar. Mighty are the distant clouds. Deep are their blues and grays.

Roar.

The storm overhead like a shadow, it covers all. The leaves are whipped, the branches are tossed, the wind roars with a splatter of drips and drops. From deep within comes the thunder, resonating wild and true. The animals swept into life, move with lightning in their limbs. Thunder in a storm brings a fresh excitement.

Rattle.

A whirl of drops, tossed into the air, fall against the windows, the breath of the storm knocks upon the door. The windowpanes, streaked with rain, rattle in their places.

Fresh and alive is the world as the storm lifts excitement to its senses; let lightning strike.
